The Inaugural Event for Heather's Haven of Hope
Dear Friends,

It is such a pleasure to speak to you about my coming out party. There is a lot of excitement and anticipation being generated because of this great cause.

I am a victim of domestic violence twice in my life. I am a C2 quadriplegic on life support full time. On October 14, 1997, my ex-husband, Ron Samuels, hired men to kill me. I was shot in the neck, died and was brought back to life by a paramedic. My second husband, John Grossman, abused me while I was in my wheelchair. I am a survivor and I live today to tell my story. My faith and love for my three children gave me the strength to carry on. I am so proud to have developed my non-profit foundation called Heather’s Haven of Hope. Through my foundation I can assist the children who are the innocent victims of domestic violence. My intention is to supply doctors, dentists, physiologists, optometrists, etc. to the children who are in shelters with their mothers because of domestic violence.

Our foundation party is on December 7th. Senator Jon Kyl and Mr. Doug Parker, CEO of US airways will be the keynote speakers. The doctors who will be helping the foundation will be acknowledged for their invaluable assistance. This is Heather’s Haven of Hope coming out party in Arizona. There will be live entertainment, great food and drinks as well as a fabulous silent auction.

It would be my honor to have your support. I would appreciate it greatly and I know these children will appreciate it. I have poured my heart and my soul into this project which means everything to me. Believe me, there is no medical help for these women and children, I have been through it! The welfare and well-being of these kids depend on your support.

I have been alive for eleven years after my shooting and Heather’s Haven of Hope is my dream and my contribution to the Arizona community. Please visit my website: www.friendsofheathergrossman.com. My foundation will bring hope and help to the little victims of domestic violence. My contact number is 480-315-1121. Please help my foundation to achieve our goals.

Thank you for your help,

Heather Grossman
